The 50th Birthday Bash group met last Sunday at Barona Casino and Hotel. Several of us hadn't been out that way in years. Barona is a beautiful venue with hotel, casino and golf resort. The grounds are immaculate and the food at the Sage Cafe was very good.
The downside was the very long and windy road leading to Barona. Unlike the vast improvements to the hotel, the road is just as narrow and windy as ever and marred by very heavy traffic.
Barona has alcohol restrictions due to the hazardous road but we feel that the location is only suitable for an afternoon event.
